I haven't used this product yet, but it looks plenty sturdy to me. I think the price is a bit high for what you get, but it is a specialty item to enable one to secure the work while drilling pocket holes. For that reason, I suppose the price is worth it. Appears well made

After reading all the negative comments, I was a little apprehensive about ordering this tool, but none of the alternative clamps I found had the nice large pressure pads. After using it for the first time, I have to wonder whether the other reviewers are looking at the same tool. I found it to be very well-designed and constructed, equivalent in quality to a genuine Irwin Vise-Grip tool. The only modification I will make to it will be to grease or oil the threads and pivots, and that's just on general principles, not because anything is sticking or binding. The only thing that is keeping me from giving it five stars is that I consider it slightly overpriced.

It works, but Kreg could do better. This clamp is not up to Kreg tool quality. After purchasing, I have seen clamps identical to this for as little as $6 with equal or even better quality.... "Made in China" strikes again???

I love using the kreg jig system, and just recently I found another use for this sturdy clamp.

When framing, installing backing for drywall can sometimes be hard to shoot together tight just by holding the pieces by hand. You guessed it: clamp up those 2x4's and shoot em' together tightly!

I just bought a K2 jig and both the KHC RAC right angle clamp and the KHC premium face clamp. I built a cabinet today using all three Kreg products. I am very impressed. Construction was very fast and accurate.



The RAC made it very easy to attach a solid wood edging to the plywood top and attaching the sides to the top. In fact a couple times I thought it would be nice to have 2.



The KHC made the face frame assembly quick and easy. The joints separated slightly while driving the screw but pulled together well and stayed flush.



It has been a long time since I have been this pleased with a tool. The Kreg system is going to change how I assemble projects.

Does just what I expected it to do and is very easy to use. The only complaint and the reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because the of the way the handles work. There is one large face and one smaller face on the clamp. The large face goes on the jig (or wood in the final step of operation), the smaller face goes underneath the piece being drilled (or screwed together). This places the pivoting handle of the clamp on top. Not a major deal, but I think it would be easier to use and feel more natural if the pivoting or locking handle were facing down. After all of this; however, I would still buy it again.

I bought a K3 jig a few months ago and assumed I could make the clamps I had at home work and save a few bucks. After a few uneven joints, and needless frustration, I decided to get a Kreg face clamp. What a difference, every joint comes out flush with no hassle. Excellent clamp!
